Meet Dr. Sonia Tsay Kidwai (Frederick, MD)

Sonia Tsay, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico (IAUPR) School of Optometry in 2021 and earned her Bachelor of Science in Community Health from Hofstra University in 2013.

Dr. Tsay was inspired to become an optometrist after experiencing firsthand the life-changing difference that clear vision made when she first needed glasses as a child. She takes great pride in helping others see the world more clearly and finds fulfillment in improving her patients’ quality of life. She especially enjoys caring for children during their first eye exams and helping them see and learn better.

Outside of the office, Dr. Tsay enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and playing tennis. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
