Meet Dr. April Miller (Frederick, MD)

April Miller, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in 1996. She earned her Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in biology and psychology from Old Dominion University of Baltimore County in 1992.

A lifelong resident of Middletown and graduate of Middletown High School, Dr. Miller is dedicated to serving her community both inside and outside the clinic. She has three children and served for eight years on the Frederick County Public School Board. She is currently a Maryland State Delegate for District 4.

At Frederick Optometry, Dr. Miller serves as the practice’s visual training specialist. In her free time, she enjoys reading, music, staying active in politics, and giving back through community service.
